Intent
At Weaverham Forest Primary School and Nursery, our mission is to nurture and develop children that are confident, resilient and motivated; who have the knowledge and skills to leave us well prepared for a changing world. Our curriculum is designed to help children find their strengths, talents and interests. It provides opportunities and experiences for them to develop positive attitudes to learning, self-belief and critical thinking skills - all essential for success in their future lives.
Our curriculum ensures learning is exciting, progressive and, above all, relevant to the needs of our children.

Purpose
All pupils will secure firm foundations in English and Mathematics and this underpins a growing excellence in other subjects. By encouraging a growth mindset approach, our child-led and knowledge-based curriculum offers a broad range of subjects from Early Years through to Key Stage 2 (KS2). We believe in bringing learning to life, both indoors and out, with an emphasis on exciting and purposeful learning.

Purpose
At Weaverham Forest Primary School, we endeavor for our children to be reflective about their own beliefs. Children will develop respect and tolerance for other faiths, feelings and values. Through a growth mindset they will enjoy learning about themselves, others and the world. We strive for our children to be happy, reflective learners with good mental well-being. They will recognise right and wrong and understand consequences. Developing their social skills, children will understand their place and responsibilities in the community and the wider world. British values are woven throughout the curriculum, in parallel to understanding and celebrating other cultures and diversity. Our curriculum is supported by No Outsiders, My Happy Mind and Growth Mindset.

Purpose
We value our children's well-being at Weaverham Forest Primary School and strive to ensure they enjoy their time here. Through our extensive work on No Outsiders, Growth Mindset and My Happy Mind, the children learn a range of strategies to thrive in tomorrow's world. Should it be required, all children have access to ELSA, providing support or guidance when needed. Children see the value in making mistakes not as set backs, but as a tool for learning, and this will prepare them for life beyond our care. We celebrate diversity and global values and respect children's rights.

Purpose
We value pupil voice at Weaverham Forest Primary School. Children contribute to their learning by sharing their opinions through discussions and debates in class and with subject leaders. Our children are given opportunities to become global citizens and responsible members of the local community.

Purpose
Children at Weaverham Forest Primary School will experience a broad and balanced curriculum through a range of learning experiences and styles. We are developing independent learners by encouraging their natural curiosity and interests. We place an emphasis on the children becoming more resilient learners and having the confidence to challenge themselves.

Purpose
At Weaverham Forest, we believe that educating children should not just be restricted to inside the classroom. Children have access to a wide range of enrichment experiences throughout their time in school.
